It is, quite simply, beyond rare. “Pelle d’angelo” in Italian, is the romantic name for the light pink coral found in the seas around Japan, Taiwan, and Hawaii. So rare is this remarkable Precious Coral, a strand of perfectly matched beads can sometimes take decades to gather.
The Coral used in these beautiful necklaces is new-old-stock - harvested in the 70's & 80's. They were each hand-selected by Barb & obtained from The Lu Coral Museum in Hawaii - a wonderful organization, now specializing in education.
